By George TreasuryFor more than a decade we have been releasing a regular newsletter By George. The publication started as a CG&A COMMUNICATIONS mailing and later evolved into an on-line quarterly. In total there have been 50 issues of By George from its launch in the mid-1990’s to 2008. This treasury compilation has been selected from the more than one thousand articles. We have looked back to gather lists of some of the most remarkable quotations, classic wordplay, puns and quizzes, editorials, the best of the humour over the years, and the 15-most popular feature articles to have appeared in the publication. From the initial editorial found in the very first edition, through to the slew of jokes in the summertime 2008 issue, we have picked the crème de la crème.

Many will be familiar with By George, but for those who have not yet discovered this wealth of information, you will want to know that the editorial mission has been to bring readers timely observations and an insight into public relations trends and tactics – and to have fun with words and with communications in the workplace. The publication offers tips and explanations of how to communicate effectively.
