Chris George

CG

Chris’s focus of work includes strategic communications counsel and campaign management, corporate positioning, and media and government relations. As President of the company, Chris plays a lead role in designing and developing advocacy and issue management initiatives for CG&A COMMUNICATIONS’ clients.

Prior to establishing this public relations practice, Chris served as Executive and Legislative Assistant to numerous M.P.s in an eight year career on Parliament Hill. He has also managed successful political campaigns at every level of government. Here is Chris’s detailed bio-sketch.

Lisa George

As one of the founding Managing Partners of the company in 1994, today, Lisa oversees the company’s business development initiatives and coordinates business liaisons. She also manages the company’s finances.

Through the years, Lisa has been the lead consultant for the planning and managing of meetings and special events, as well as design and print production management. Prior to 1994, she held various public relations and administrative roles for elected officials at every level of government. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Business Diploma from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and a Certificate in Conventions and Meetings Management from Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario.

Andrée Paige

Andrée Paige is Managing Partner of CG&A COMMUNICATIONS’ Ottawa network of clients and partners. She is a bilingual consultant, with specialties in production and publication, employee and public outreach initiatives, executive and organizational counsel, writing, editing, and research.  Andrée also leads the design and translation networks of the company.

With CG&A COMMUNICATIONS, Andrée has initiated, developed and/or managed communications initiatives which include information and advocacy campaigns, media events, government relations engagements, regional and national publications, employee-driven newspapers, business-to-business newsletters, special events, speaking and training opportunities, public consultations, and web-based projects. In addition, she has been involved in events at the national level – as a conference presenter, an event facilitator, a media relations coordinator, and a representative in meetings on Parliament Hill.

Andrée has extensive, first-hand experience with the federal and municipal political systems, the energy sector, private enterprise, health and fitness, and various educational environments. She first crossed paths with Chris and Lisa George while working on Parliament Hill between 1989-1993. In 1994, Andrée left Ottawa to work and travel across Canada and overseas. In 2000 she returned to the Nation’s Capital and joined forces with Chris and Lisa.
